Bay Shore man faces additional sex trafficking charges after new victim comes forward
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced today that Danny St. Louis, 43, of Bay Shore, has been indicted on three counts of sex trafficking and other related charges for the alleged commercial sexual exploitation of an additional female victim. St. Louis is already facing 28 felony and misdemeanor charges on a separate indictment for alleged sex trafficking and other offenses.
Brookhaven hosts hybrid return for annual NSLS-II & CFN Users' Meeting
After five years of virtual-only gatherings, the annual National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II) and Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) Users’ Meeting returned as a combined on-site/remote event. Most of the 531 registrants — representing 32 countries and 140 institutions — participated in person. Held May 13-17 at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory, the meeting focused on the continued growth and impact of NSLS-II and CFN, which are DOE Office of Science user facilities at Brookhaven.

The freshman finished third of the Division III runners and 24th overall. Ana Lombardo finished off the trifecta for the Golden Eagles as she was named to the Weekly Honor Roll.
