Daniel J. Panico Supervisor | Town of Brookhaven

Supervisor Ed Romaine and the Division of Economic Development’s Brookhaven Business Advisory Council have announced that the Town of Brookhaven will hold its seventh annual Job Fair at Town Hall on June 13 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Last year’s event saw more than 400 residents attend, with 96 employers present. The fair is designed to connect job seekers with representatives from companies in and around Brookhaven who are looking to hire for a variety of positions.

Businesses interested in participating can contact the Town of Brookhaven’s Office of Economic Development or register online to reserve a recruitment table. The fee for employers is $75 if reserved before May 1, increasing to $100 after that date. For additional information, individuals can call 631-451-6563.

Supervisor Romaine stated, “The Town of Brookhaven’s Job Fair is a great event for people to find good paying job opportunities in the public and private sector. I commend the Division of Economic Development and the BBAC for helping residents to network and meet with company representatives who are actively recruiting candidates for employment.”

The Brookhaven Business Advisory Council (BBAC) acts as a business liaison to the Supervisor and Town Board. It consists of volunteer business owners and professionals who assist by sharing information between local businesses and town government, compiling data about businesses in Brookhaven, and developing public programs aimed at informing the business community about outreach efforts and available assistance.

Brookhaven Town Council provides extensive services supporting community needs such as recreational sites, youth support programs, safety initiatives, and events as described on its official website. The council also focuses on resident well-being through municipal services targeting improvements within Suffolk County; more details can be found on their official website.
