Tritec’s Ronkonkoma Hub breaks ground with support from Brookhaven officials

On November 20, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for Tritec Real Estate's Ronkonkoma Hub, a $650 million development project located near the Long Island Railroad's Ronkonkoma station and Long Island Macarthur Airport. Supervisor Ed Romaine, Councilman Neil Foley, and Councilman Kevin LaValle attended the event. The project is also situated close to major roadways such as Veterans Highway and the Long Island Expressway.

The Ronkonkoma Hub will be a multi-modal, transit-oriented, mixed-use development covering 53 acres. Plans include 1,450 residential units, 360,000 square feet of office and medical space, 195,000 square feet of retail space, and 60,000 square feet designated for hospitality and community use. The first phase of construction includes 489 residential units distributed across six buildings.

Councilman Neil Foley; Councilman Kevin LaValle; Supervisor Ed Romaine; Tritec principals Robert Coughlan and James Coughlan; and Tritec Chief Operating Officer Robert Loscalzo were present at the event.

The Town of Brookhaven Town Council provides extensive services to residents such as recreational sites and youth support programs while focusing on community safety and engagement through various initiatives (source).
