Members of the Sachem High School East Concert Choir performed at Brookhaven Town Hall as part of the town’s annual toy and blood drive. Led by Ms. Dominick, the choir contributed to the event by providing music for attendees.

The event aimed to support community initiatives during the holiday season. Attendees included local residents and representatives from the Suffolk County Legislature, who gathered to listen to the choir and participate in the drive.

Organizers noted that events like this highlight connections between local schools and their communities. The participation of students in such initiatives is seen as a way for them to give back and contribute beyond their academic responsibilities.

According to organizers, “The performance highlighted the strong connection between Sachem East and the broader community, demonstrating how students can use their talents to give back and make a positive impact beyond the classroom.”

Don't Expect Bregman to Pay Off

This week, one of the bigger names in the free agency cycle signed with the Chicago Cubs, and fantasy managers everywhere sighed. Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.

Futures Bettors Will Be Smiling

Indiana may have the largest living alumni base in the country, with more than 800,000 graduates, but few expected the Hoosiers to reach this stage. They feature zero five-star recruits and have instead relied on depth, discipline, and consistency while dominating all season long.
