EJ’s PJs Pajama Extravaganza Spreads Holiday Warmth

| Patricia Poggi

Smiles, generosity, and a strong show of community support marked a successful fundraiser at Connect Church in Centereach benefiting EJ’s PJs. The well-attended event raised money to purchase new pajamas for children and families in need, helping ensure recipients stay warm and comfortable throughout the winter months.

Founded by Centereach resident Patricia Poggi, EJ’s PJs turns local kindness into warmth for those who need it most. Now in its 14th year, the organization has provided more than 16,000 pairs of pajamas, with each donation offering not just warmth, but reassurance and care to families across Long Island and beyond.

Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.
