The Jazz Loft @ Southampton Concert Series will continue its fall season on Friday, November 7, with a performance titled “Strictly Sinatra! A Man and His Music” at the Avram Theater at Stony Brook Southampton.

The event will feature vocalist Pete Caldera performing selections from Frank Sinatra’s repertoire. Caldera, known for his work as a reporter for the Bergen Record and USA Today network covering the New York Yankees, is also a former chairman of the New York Chapter of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America. He is recognized for his interpretations of Sinatra’s music.

Caldera will be accompanied by The Jazz Loft’s 17-piece big band under the direction of Tom Manuel, founder of The Jazz Loft. The program will include original arrangements by Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Sy Oliver and others.

General admission tickets are priced at $36. Stony Brook University faculty and staff, alumni and seniors can attend for $33, while SBU students pay $18.

The concert series is organized in collaboration with The Jazz Loft in Stony Brook and curated by Thomas Manuel, who serves as both founder and Endowed Artist in Residence at Stony Brook University. Each performance aims to explore different aspects of jazz music and provide distinct musical experiences.

More information about the performers is available on the concert series website.

Bregman is a right-handed pull hitter who previously played in two of the more favorable home parks for that profile in Houston and Boston. Both parks feature short left-field dimensions that reward pulled fly balls and help inflate power numbers.

They feature zero five-star recruits and have instead relied on depth, discipline, and consistency while dominating all season long.
