The William Floyd School District Art Department is holding its annual Faculty Art Exhibit at the Susan Hersh Art Gallery, located in the main lobby of William Floyd High School. The exhibit has been open throughout October and will continue through the first week of November.

The event features artwork from art teachers across all grade levels in the district. Pieces on display include infused glass work, ceramics, fabric art, silk-screening, acrylic and watercolor paintings, as well as photography.

“The teachers get to share with students and the William Floyd community their own personal interests along with how the tools and techniques they teach in class can be seen professionally,” said Theresa Bianco, chairperson of Fine Arts for the William Floyd School District. “We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented staff working together to provide the best opportunities for our students.”

This year’s participating faculty artists are Erin Almeida, Theresa Bianco, Sandra Bretton, James Carson, Tori Golino, Tina Higgins, Timothy Kosta, Melanie Kuklis, Stephanie Laughlin-Taisler, Erika Licausi, Linda Lutzen, Amanda Maertz, Eileen Randazzo, Anna Schipf, Sheri Schultz, Abigail Shapiro and Gregory Williams.
