Smithtown Fire Department invites public to Fire Prevention Day on October 19

Fire Prevention Day will take place on October 19 at the Smithtown Fire Department. The event is scheduled to begin at noon at the firehouse located at 100 Elm Avenue in Smithtown.

Attendees can participate in fire and rescue demonstrations, explore a smoke house, tour a fire engine, and meet the Chief of the department. The event is open to families and children.

The department encourages community members to attend and learn more about fire safety.
