Stony Brook women’s basketball hosts fantasy camp for faculty and staff

Kevin Gardner, Vice President for Research and Innovation | Stony Brook University

Stony Brook University is inviting its faculty and staff to participate in a fantasy basketball camp hosted by the university’s women’s basketball team. The event will take place on Friday, October 10, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Stony Brook Arena.

The camp is open to all skill levels. Participants will rotate through stations led by members of the women’s basketball team, focusing on ball handling, passing, and shooting skills. Organizers encourage early registration due to limited spots.

“Stony Brook University faculty and staff can trade in their office shoes for sneakers and step onto the court for the ultimate all-star experience with the SBU women’s basketball team.”

Those interested are encouraged to bring athletic shoes and show their school spirit. Registration is required to attend.

Additionally, participants who follow the team on Instagram @stonybrookwbb will be entered into a raffle for a swag bag.
