On Thursday, June 26, around 220 members of the William Floyd High School Class of 2025 returned to their former elementary schools in a tradition known as "Walk Down Memory Lane." The event allows graduating seniors to visit their old schools and reconnect with past teachers, teaching assistants, and administrators before they graduate.
This tradition started at William Floyd in 2017. It aims to inspire younger students as they continue their education. The day is described as exciting and heartwarming for both students and staff. Congratulations were extended to the Class of 2025.
Participating schools included William Floyd Elementary School, Tangier Smith Elementary School, John S. Hobart Elementary School, Moriches Elementary School, and Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School.
