Town of Brookhaven Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Coram Fire Department's annual Installation Dinner to acknowledge the service and dedication of its members. The event highlighted decades of commitment to public safety and introduced new talents within the department.
Brian Heidrich Jr. was honored with the title "Probie of the Year." During the ceremony, Councilwoman Bonner presented Town of Brookhaven certificates to two esteemed department members. Patti Ann Ankum was recognized for her 28 years as an emergency service dispatcher, while Commissioner Tom Lyon received acknowledgment for his 50 years of service with the Coram Fire Department.
“These individuals have dedicated so much of their lives to protecting and supporting our community,” said Councilwoman Bonner. “It’s an honor to recognize their commitment and to thank them for the selfless work they’ve done over the years.”
The dinner underscored the solidarity within the fire service community, with Councilwoman Bonner expressing gratitude for their bravery, professionalism, and dedication.
