Local schools announce 'Meet the Teacher' schedules

Monday, July 28, marks the beginning of a series of "Meet the Teacher" events across various schools. The first event is BHS Senior Night Out, scheduled from 5:30 to 7:00 in the evening.

On Tuesday, July 29, Mamie Martin Elementary will host its event from 4:00 to 6:00 in the afternoon. This will be followed by BHS Freshman Orientation from 6:00 to 7:30.

Brookhaven Elementary will hold its "Meet the Teacher" session on Wednesday, July 30, between 3:30 and 5:30.

Thursday, July 31, features two events. Lipsey Middle School's gathering will occur from 4:30 to 6:00 in the evening. Later that day, Alexander Jr. High welcomes students and parents from 5:00 to 7:00.

These sessions are designed for students and parents to meet teachers and familiarize themselves with their new educational environment.
