William Floyd High School recently held its annual Academic Awards Night to honor the achievements of the Class of 2025. The ceremony took place on May 29, with a performance by the William Floyd High School Chamber Orchestra marking the event's commencement.
The school extended its congratulations to all award recipients. The program and a list of recipients were made available online for attendees, along with a video of the ceremony.
The Bay Shore Schools Board of Education recently recognized and congratulated girls varsity cross country standout Maggie McCormick for her outstanding achievements on the track and on the national stage. McCormick, who has committed to the University of Florida, was honored for her performance at the Nike Cross Country Nationals, one of the most prestigious high school running events in the country.
