Lorraine Mentz Trustee | William Floyd School District

The Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program is still open for applications for the 2025-26 school year. The program, designed for four-year-olds living in the William Floyd School District, offers available spots and encourages interested parties to apply.

UPK classes are conducted at local preschools and elementary schools within the district. The teachers involved in this program are fully certified, and the curriculum follows state approval guidelines.

The program operates on a full-day schedule, five days per week, catering to children who turn four on or before December 1st of the enrollment school year. Applicants must meet all health and immunization requirements as enrollment is limited. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

It is important to note that transportation services are not provided for participants in this program.
