The Senior Spotlight campaign returns at William Floyd for the Class of 2025

Lorraine Mentz Trustee | William Floyd School District

The William Floyd School District has announced the return of its Senior Spotlight social media campaign to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2025. William Floyd High School and Floyd Academy graduates will be featured on the district's Facebook and Instagram pages.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to submit information about their graduates. The details requested include the graduate's name, future plans such as military service, workforce entry, college enrollment, notable achievements, and any extracurricular activities. It is also helpful to provide the names of elementary and middle schools the graduate attended within the William Floyd School District.

Submitting photos is optional, as the yearbook photo will be used if available. Spotlights of graduates will be posted in the order submissions are received.

There is a new addition this year — an “I Love My Grad” frame image will be provided to families. This comes after Facebook's decision to close their frame studio.

The district emphasizes the importance of parents and guardians ensuring that graduates are aware of and approve their participation in the campaign.
