Gordon Heights Fire Department celebrates installation of officers with community leaders

On April 19, 2025, Supervisor Dan Panico, alongside other elected officials, attended the Gordon Heights Fire Department's annual Installation Dinner. The event took place at Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook to recognize newly installed officers and honor the department's decades of service.

Supervisor Panico was joined by Senator Dean Murray, Department Chief Moonee Rivers, Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine, and Legislator Dominick Thorne. They gathered to commend the department's ongoing commitment to public safety and community service.

Supervisor Panico expressed his gratitude by stating, “For 77 years, the Gordon Heights Fire Department has been faithfully serving their community and neighbors. It was great to personally thank them for their service, see so many friends, and meet new friends at their very upbeat and energetic annual installation of officers event.”

The Gordon Heights Fire Department continues its important role in emergency response and resident protection. The installation event remains a significant tradition that unites community leaders and volunteers.
