Councilwoman Bonner swears in new Rocky Point Civic Association board

On February 4, Councilwoman Jane Bonner participated in a ceremony at the Fischer VFW Post 6249 in Rocky Point to swear in the new board members of the Rocky Point Civic Association. The newly appointed board includes Dean Gandley as Treasurer, Quentin Palifka and Alicia Palifka as Trustees, Kathleen Weber as Membership Secretary, Jennifer Hald as President, Tina Bogart as Sergeant at Arms, Thomas Buttacavoli as Vice President, and Leah Buttacavoli as Trustee.

Councilwoman Bonner stated, “The Rocky Point Civic Association has worked for many years to help make the community a better place to live. I congratulate the incoming officers and look forward to working with them in the future.”

The association is dedicated to enhancing the welfare and quality of life in Rocky Point and its neighboring areas. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. Further information can be found on their website or by contacting them via email.
