William Floyd Middle School to host 'Annie Jr.' musical performance

William Floyd Middle School is set to present "Annie Jr.," an adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical, featuring the beloved character Annie in her first adventure. The production will take place over three shows at the school's auditorium, starting on Friday, February 7 at 6:30 pm, and continuing with two performances on Saturday, February 8 at 12 pm and 4 pm.

Tickets for the event are priced at $10 each. They can be purchased in advance online or at the door using cash or a QR code. Attendees are encouraged to buy tickets ahead of time to avoid waiting in line.

The story of "Annie Jr." revolves around little orphan Annie as she wins hearts with her optimism despite facing hardships in 1930s New York City. The musical score is crafted by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse, and Martin Charnin.

This engaging production invites audiences to experience a tale of resilience and cheerfulness through Annie's journey.
