Keith A. Chadwick, MD, MS, a member of Stony Brook Surgery’s Division of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (ENT), has been inducted as an Active Fellow into the American Laryngological Rhinological and Otological Society, Inc., known as the Triological Society. Dr. Chadwick also received the Harris P. Mosher Award for Excellence in Clinical Research.

"The new fellow induction ceremony for the Triological Society was an almost surreal experience for me," stated Dr. Chadwick. "It was one of the greatest honors of my career to not only be inducted into this prestigious society but also to be recognized with such an incredible award."

The Triological Society, established over 125 years ago, is known for attracting top professionals in academic and clinical otolaryngology. Membership requires presenting a thesis on otolaryngology reviewed by peers.

Dr. Chadwick's thesis titled “Prospective Outcomes of Microlaryngoscopy Versus Office Laser Photoangiolysis for Vocal Fold Polyps” earned him the 2024 Harris P. Mosher Award for Excellence in Clinical Research. He presented this work at the annual meeting of the Triological Society during the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meeting in Chicago, and it was published in full in The Laryngoscope, the society's peer-reviewed journal.

At Stony Brook Medicine, Dr. Chadwick is a board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon and serves as an assistant professor of surgery and fellowship-trained laryngologist in ENT. He holds roles as medical director of the ENT practice in East Setauket, NY, and director of Multi-Disciplinary Voice and Swallowing Programs. In early 2025, he will assume responsibilities as director of Otolaryngology at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
