The Charles B. Wang Center is set to present a series of exhibitions, workshops, and events this spring, focusing on Asian art, culture, and community. The season emphasizes themes of renewal, creativity, and connection.

A highlight of the season is "Cycles of Clay: The Ceramic Narratives of Sunkoo Yuh," an exhibition featuring the work of Sunkoo Yuh. His ceramic pieces delve into themes such as life, death, and rebirth. The exhibition opens on March 7 and will be available for viewing in the Skylight Gallery until May 24.

On April 27, the Wang Center's annual Cherry Blossom Festival returns with music, dance, and various festivities. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite comic or anime costumes to enjoy the event fully.

Additionally, OiYan Poon will host the Asian American and Pacific Islander Celebration on April 3. This event highlights the diverse cultures and storytelling traditions within these communities.

The film series for this season offers four films that explore Asian culture. Workshops on Japanese flower arrangements and bonsai cultivation also return this year to provide creative engagement with nature.

Jinyoung A. Jin commented on the upcoming events: “Whether you’re drawn to the storytelling power of ceramics, the joy of cultural festivals, or the artistry of ikebana, this spring season promises something special for everyone.” She encourages visitors to mark their calendars for these cultural celebrations.
