Smithtown members responded to Kings Park on May 8, 2024, to assist with a structure fire at the Sunken Meadow Golf Course. Engine 5, along with Chief Diecidue and Assistant Chief Dongvort, participated in relay pumping due to the proximity of working fire hydrants. The members were on the scene for approximately three hours.
