There was a single gas station in cities across Suffolk County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.39 per gallon in the week ending Nov. 23, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Suffolk County was $3.78 per gallon.
Of the 563 reported gas stations in cities within Suffolk County, 160 offer premium gas.
The average reported price of premium gas in New York was $3.97, compared to $3.99 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
