The William Floyd School District has announced new guidelines for attendees of indoor winter sports events at William Floyd High School. The district emphasizes safety and enjoyment for all spectators and appreciates cooperation from attendees.
To enter the building, all spectators must present valid government-issued identification, such as a driver's license or passport. Middle school students need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and show their school ID. High school students are required to have a school ID and be in good standing.
Attendance is restricted to William Floyd students and students from the opposing team, who must provide their school IDs. Students from neighboring districts not involved in the competition will not be permitted entry.
All fans must adhere to the Section XI Code of Conduct. Violations may result in immediate removal and bans from future events at William Floyd.
Capacity is limited, with entry on a first-come, first-served basis. No entry will be allowed after halftime, and exits after the third quarter are final. Bags and backpacks may be searched upon entry.
Spectators are expected to remain in the stands during games and display behavior that aligns with William Floyd's core values. Any profanity or violent behavior will lead to ejection from the venue and possible suspension from future events.
After games conclude, spectators must exit promptly as directed by staff and security. Access to the court during or after games is prohibited.
The district thanks everyone for their cooperation as they anticipate an exciting winter sports season.
