Dr. Huseyin Isildak named chief at Stony Brook's ENT division

Dr. Apostolos Tassiopoulos, the chair of the Stony Brook Department of Surgery, has announced the appointment of Dr. Huseyin Isildak as chief of the Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ENT). Dr. Isildak had been serving as interim chief since June 2024.

Dr. Isildak holds positions as a professor of surgery, director of otology/neurotology, and director of Stony Brook’s Cochlear Implant Program. He became part of Stony Brook in August 2021, following his role as the practicing director of otology/neurotology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center for eight years.
