Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, known for wearing hoodies and other casual garb, can dress down in the U.S. Senate under a new rule by Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

The leader’s softening of the dress code was contained in a notice that went out to the senate sergeant-at-arms and relevant staff members, according to congressional sources. The new lax standards would allow the Democrat Fetterman to wear his preferred casual attire, including sweatshirts and baseball shorts, anywhere he wants in the Capitol.

The senator was reportedly in the senate in his usual garb after he returned from treatment for clinical depression.
