Construction Zone Crash Leads to Serious Injuries

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a Medford man.

Pawel Andrzejczyk, was driving a 2015 Mercedes-Benz eastbound on Express Drive South, near Victorian Lane.

According to police, Andrzejczyk ignored a construction worker who was directing traffic and subsequently hit a construction vehicle on the job site.

The crash left the Medford man with serious injuries. He was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to call the Suffolk County Police Department’s Sixth Squad at 631.854.8652.
