Honoring the Bravest

Firehouse Restaurant & Bar | Facebook.com

Sound Beach was the place to be for the ceremonial grand opening and ribbon cutting for the Firehouse Restaurant & Bar on New York Avenue.

Owners Joe and Barbara DiBernardo opened this restaurant, at the site of the former Hartlin Inn, in memory of their late son FDNY Lt. Joseph P. DiBernardo, who gave his life so others could live.

The support and turnout were strong for this new business in the close knit community of Sound Beach
