The Suffolk AME (Association of Municipal Employees) honored the longtime President of its Medical Examiners Unit upon her retirement.

Ramona Scioli-Delzio, a forensic scientist, served the Suffolk County community for four decades in the Medical Examiners Unit.

The union offered a retirement tribute to Scioli-Delzio and thanked her for her 40 years of service to Suffolk County:

“Ramona's unwavering commitment to our union and her fellow members is truly inspiring.

She has been a beacon of support, always ready to share valuable information, stand in solidarity, and offer assistance to her brothers and sisters in Suffolk AME. While we are saddened to see Ramona separate from service, we are extremely proud to include her among our ranks as an AME Retiree. We celebrate her accomplishments and wish her all the best in this new chapter of her life,” wrote the Suffolk AME.
