Students thank police for their service to Suffolk County | Bayport-Blue Point School District

Bayport-Blue School District’s Sylvan Avenue Elementary recognized the community’s first responders with a special celebration to honor the work they do protecting and serving families across Suffolk County.

The event began with a firetruck and police car parade in which student and staff spectators cheered as sirens and flashing lights lit up the school’s front circle. Suffolk County Police Officer Gayer then put on a K-9 demonstration.
