Stony Brook University, in partnership with the University of Waterloo, the Shinnecock Indian Nation, Open Ocean Robotics, and McLane Research Laboratories, has introduced a new solar-powered, remote-controlled craft. This autonomous vehicle is designed to collect essential data on species in Long Island's Shinnecock Bay while ensuring no harm to the ecosystem.
