Which gas stations in Suffolk County had the cheapest premium gas during week ending Oct. 5

There were two gas stations in cities across Suffolk County selling premium gas at the lowest price of $3.39 per gallon in the week ending Oct. 5, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of premium gas in cities within Suffolk County was $3.80 per gallon.

Of the 558 reported gas stations in cities within Suffolk County, 185 offer premium gas.

The average reported price of premium gas in New York was $4.06, compared to $4.10 the week before.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

The cost of rising gas prices is made tougher on average U.S. families by rising inflation. Families had to pay nearly 8% more for average goods and food they needed.
