The Auxiliary Services Association (ASA) has announced the opening of the new Shop Red Tech Center at East Side Dining, a facility designed to aid students in their educational pursuits. The center focuses on providing technology and resources essential for the Stony Brook University community.

The Shop Red Tech Center serves as a comprehensive hub for tech-related needs. Students can access exclusive educational discounts on Apple and Dell products, facilitating investments in high-quality technology to enhance learning experiences. Additionally, various accessories are available.

Display models of the latest Apple products, such as MacBook Airs and iPads, are featured at the center. Visitors can also preview the all-new Apple Watch Series 10 and a new finish for the Apple Watch Ultra 2. "The Apple Watch Series 10 has the biggest display, thinnest design, stunning new finishes, and fastest charging ever," states ASA's announcement.

To obtain educational discount pricing on Apple products, individuals must visit stonybrook.edu/apple and log in with their SBU Net ID and password. They will then be redirected to shop with education pricing on Apple's site. Discounts apply automatically to select merchandise for current students, newly accepted students, their parents, faculty, and staff for personal use.

Discounted pricing is also available on Dell personal computers and accessories by shopping online at dell.com/dellu/stonybrook.

Beyond tech essentials, the center offers Stony Brook apparel, merchandise, and school supplies. "We’re proud to offer not just tech essentials but also Stony Brook spirit wear and school supplies. This center is all about supporting our community’s needs in one convenient location,” said Bill Napolitano, director of business development at Auxiliary Services Association.
