There was a single gas station in cities across Suffolk County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.59 per gallon in the week ending Sept. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Suffolk County was $2.96 per gallon.

Of the 560 reported gas stations in cities within Suffolk County, 324 offer regular gas.

The average reported price of regular gas in New York was $3.22, compared to $3.27 the week before.
