The Over That Never Happened
The NFL season is here, well sort of. Last week we had our first NFL preseason game between the Chicago Bears and the Houston Texans. The Bears won the Hall of Fame Game 21-17 over the Texans. It seems pretty cut and dry doesn't it? But, for sports bettors and sports books it was a nightmare of a game.
Forget Applauds - The Yankees Have Jazz Hands
The pinstripe faithful know that time is wasting for this team to do something big. Aaron Judge and Gerritt Cole are both getting older and Juan Soto might leave if New York falters this year. That meant Cashman had to make some big moves and sacrificing the minor league system might be in order.
Woman's Sports Are Not An Option For Men
Carini quit the match 46 seconds into the fight afterwards stating that she had never been hit so hard in the face. Well, that is for good reason as she was boxing a man. Carini was in tears and could barely contain herself as her Olympic dreams came to a screeching halt.

Hard Knocks Makes The Giants Easy To Knock
Hard Knocks has been a great show for the fans of the NFL to get a look inside how franchises go about their business during training camp and what it's really like to be on a professional team. But, as with most things under a spotlight, there seems to always be some drawbacks. Sure, the publicity can be great but there is a reason teams don't want the cameras around all the time and Big Blue is feeling that backlash this year.

A Major Accomplishment
The Majors All Stars advanced to the sectional finals on the back of a tremendous pitching effort and some timely hitting. Their journey began in the District 36 Championship game against East Hampton. In that game you could see the toughness of the team shine through. They trailed 5-4 heading into the last inning only to have a massive comeback win to advance and claim the title.

Betting Bullpens = Big Bucks
While the Yankees with Rivera, Nelson, and Stanton set the standard for shortening the game, the Rays took it a step further and almost eliminated the need for a dominant starter when they began to institute the opener. Teams have since become quite happy with 3 good starters and patching the backend of the rotation together and even the front line starters' standards have gone down to just get us through 5 or 6 innings and allow the bullpen to take it from there. But again, many sports bettors have looked past this trend.
