Suffolk County Community College partners with St. Joseph's University for expanded student opportunities

Suffolk County Community College and St. Joseph's University have announced a new partnership aimed at providing students with guaranteed acceptance into nearly all of St. Joseph’s programs through joint admission. This initiative includes 48 articulation agreements between the two institutions, promoting educational advancement while allowing students to remain on Long Island.

Suffolk County Community College renames nursing school after Jane F. Shearer

Suffolk County Community College has renamed its nursing school to honor Jane F. Shearer, who dedicated over 30 years of service to the institution. The new name, Jane F. Shearer School of Nursing, pays tribute to her contributions as the Eastern Campus Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and President of the Guild of Administrative Officers before her passing from cancer in 2019.

Suffolk County Community College is set to host "Parklife," an art exhibition featuring the works of artists James Bertucci, Claudia Kaatziza Cortinez, Kristen Jensen, and Benny Merris. Exhibit by Cliff Baldwin opens at Suffolk County Community College

Cliff Baldwin: “In All Languages,” an exhibit of paintings, films, and prints will be on view at the Suffolk County Community College Eastern Campus’ Lyceum Gallery located in the Montaukett Building from September 4 through October 19, 2024. There will be a reception for the artist on Thursday, September 12 from 4 – 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and all are welcome to attend.

Don't Expect Bregman to Pay Off

This week, one of the bigger names in the free agency cycle signed with the Chicago Cubs, and fantasy managers everywhere sighed.
