101-Year-Old WWII Vet from Deer Park Rewarded the French Legion of Honor
The Brooklyn-born World War II Army Private entered service at the young age of 19 in 1943. He was at The Battle of Normandy as a member of the 325th Glider Infantry regiment the following year.
